What it is for
- Holder tiers: more Agent Shop slots and priority routing, and lower facilitator fees if a fee is ever introduced. Thresholds are TBD. See Holder tiers.
- Buyback: if Axonpay’s facilitator ever charges a fee, a share of that revenue would buy $AXON on the market and burn it. The share is TBD. Today the facilitator charges nothing, so there is no revenue to buy with. See Buyback.
Payments themselves stay in USDC or SOL. $AXON is never required to buy or sell a call, and an agent never needs to hold it.
