The protocol layer: the x402 packages on npm (@x402/core, @x402/svm, @x402/next, @x402/fetch and friends), published by the x402 Foundation under Apache-2.0. Axonpay’s facilitator uses their verification and settlement code unchanged, and every code sample in these docs uses them directly, so nothing you build depends on unpublished Axonpay code.
Planned repositories
| Repo | Contents |
|---|---|
| examples | The seller, agent, mandate and MCP samples from these docs, runnable end to end on devnet |
| leash | The mandate client wrapper as a package, with persistent budget storage |
| facilitator | Axonpay's policy layer and receipts ledger around the @x402/svm facilitator |
| mandate-program | The on-chain mandate program, after an audit |
No repositories are public yet. This page will link them when they are.
Principles
- Upstream first. Fixes that belong in x402 itself go to the x402 packages, not into an Axonpay fork.
- Audited before deployed. On-chain programs are published with their audit report, and the deployed program’s hash can be checked against the source with a verifiable build.
- Permissive licenses for client code, so you can embed the leash or the examples in commercial agents. The exact license per repo is TBD.
- No hidden dependency. The docs never show code that needs an unpublished Axonpay package to run.
